Always make wishes

Wish on every shooting star; wish on every fallen eyelash; wish every 11:11 pm. Wish for your hopes, wish for your dreams. Wish for those you love; wish for those you hate; wish for people you don’t know.

Always keep wishing, because you never know when it will come true.

Say what you want to be heard

No one is a mind reader. If you want someone to know something, even if you’re afraid of the answer, you had better tell them or else they’ll never know.

Exception

If you know someone who can read minds, like Edward Cullen and you’re not Bella Swan, then I guess you don’t need to say anything.

Sometimes life sucks … Get over it

Sure, sometimes life can be a real pain in the you-know-where. Sometimes life can throw things at you that you’re not ready to catch and hit you smack dab in the face. Sometimes life can rip you to shreds. Oh well, shit happens. Get over it.

For example, things that I think suck about life:

  • This is no “esc” button
  • This is no background music
  • I can’t always figure out what people are thinking, what they’ll do next, or what their motives are
  • When people say “I love you”, they don’t always mean it

But I’m not going to constantly whine about it, self-injure, or kill myself over it. And neither should you.

Life is what you make it.

Exception

The exception to this rule is if your life sucks so much that the only thing left to do is complain or something like that about it. For example: Everyone who lovse you and you love are dead or gone; you got thrown out of your house; you have no money and no way possible to get a job; you’re blind and paralized; and you have an incurable disease that’s going to kill you within the next 24 hours. Then I give you full and utter permission or cry, complain, whine, etc about your life until you die within the next 24 hours.

I am so sorry about your life…

Always tell the truth

“The truth will set you free”. It’s a well-known quote that is absolutely, without a doubt true. Sure, telling the truth can be ridiculously hard, especially if it has a web of lies around it or if it could hurt someone. But it is always better to tell the truth. Always.

Exception

When telling little kids about things such as: Santa, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, their probability of becoming president in the future, etc. Then you had better lie your ass off.

Yoga is good for your health

Not only is it a form of exercise that can stretch and strengthen your muscles, it can also calm the mind.

Exception:

When you’re trying a move and you do it wrong. Now that just hurts

Life is a gift

Use it wisely
Treasure it well
Love deeply
Laugh often
Smile everyday
Cry when you want to
Help someone every chance you get
Regret nothing
